Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Location: Newcastle
Salary: 25,000 - 30,000
Our Client is offering an opportunity to support the company in managing project costs from inception through to completion. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a variety of Projects, work closely with experienced professionals, and progress your Career in Quantity Surveying
Main Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets,
- Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost control
- Support the preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather data and assess work progress
- Assist in managing variations and change orders
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate project documentation
About you:
- Degree Educated in Quantity Surveying or a related Construction discipline
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with cost management software is a plus
- A team player with a proactive attitude and keen eye for detail
