About the Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, you’ll oversee a £150 million project involving student accommodation and mixed-use retail spaces. Your role will involve:
- Managing project costs, budgets, and financial reports
- Leading procurement and contract negotiations
- Collaborating with design and construction teams
- Ensuring project delivery within agreed timelines and budget
- Providing strategic advice to clients and stakeholders
- Conducting risk assessments and managing project risks
- Mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices
- Chairing site meetings and reporting on project progress
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager, preferably in large-scale projects
- Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver on time
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach
