This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a SaaS company as they continue their exciting growth journey.

The role involves handling financial transactions, supporting management accounting, using Xero and other cloud-based finance systems, and managing credit control. Additionally, you will provide general administrative support to the finance team and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookkeeping, post transactions, reconcile multiple bank accounts, and maintain accurate financial records using Xero.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.

  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

  • Manage customer subscriptions and assist with credit control.

  • Collaborate with account managers to manage customer subscriptions.

  • Monitor overdue payments and liaise with clients to resolve issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of credit control communications.

  • Provide general administrative support to finance and management teams.

  • Assist with HR and health & safety administration processes.

  • Undertake general office duties.

Some of the requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly for credit control.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based systems.

  • Ability to multitask and work independently.

  • Reliable, with a high level of integrity and discretion.

  • Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Expertise in finance and accounting.

  • Experience with Xero accounting software (or similar) and Stripe (or other payment systems).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.

  • A recognized qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
