This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join a SaaS company as they continue their exciting growth journey.
The role involves handling financial transactions, supporting management accounting, using Xero and other cloud-based finance systems, and managing credit control. Additionally, you will provide general administrative support to the finance team and management.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage bookkeeping, post transactions, reconcile multiple bank accounts, and maintain accurate financial records using Xero.

Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and receipts.

Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

Manage customer subscriptions and assist with credit control.

Collaborate with account managers to manage customer subscriptions.

Monitor overdue payments and liaise with clients to resolve issues.

Maintain accurate records of credit control communications.

Provide general administrative support to finance and management teams.
-
Assist with HR and health & safety administration processes.

Undertake general office duties.
Some of the requirements:

Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly for credit control.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based systems.

Ability to multitask and work independently.

Reliable, with a high level of integrity and discretion.

Thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Expertise in finance and accounting.

Experience with Xero accounting software (or similar) and Stripe (or other payment systems).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.

A recognized qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
