As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Forklift Field Service Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional service across the North East area.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to maintain, repair, and service a variety of forklift trucks and related equipment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of machinery, including construction plant and specialist military vehicles and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right background to join a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on forklift trucks and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with the service manager and customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of forklift trucks, construction plant, or specialist military vehicles and equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic skills in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are desirable.
  • Full UK driving license.
