Job Title: Adult Social Worker - Mental Health Community Team
Location: North Tyneside
Rate: £26 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Join North Tyneside council's Mental Health Community Team as an Adult Social Worker. You'll support adults with mental health needs, working with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery, independence, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans.
- Provide support and interventions to manage mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with health-care providers and other partners.
- Address safeguarding concerns and manage crisis situations.
- Maintain accurate records and advocate for service users.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work and Social Work England registration.
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Experience in adult mental health social work.
- Knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding procedures.
