Job Description:

Are you a newly qualified social worker eager to make a difference in the lives of Adult and families? We are seeking motivated individuals to join the Safeguarding Team in Newcastle.This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a meaningful impact on the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of Adults and families to identify needs, risks, and protective factors.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring they have access to necessary services and resources.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and community organizations to coordinate holistic care and support.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work and registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with Adult and families.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to Adults protection and safeguarding.
