After huge success and 27% growth in the last two years, a SaaS business who create intelligent medical software solutions have an opportunity for a Senior PHP Developer to make a meaningful difference while enjoying a supportive and open work environment.

This role can be appointed on a either a hybrid or a remote basis but you must be based in the UK with full working rights. 

The Mission

After a full assessment of their technology landscape a few years back this company set themselves on a mission to achieve a full IT makeover by leveraging the use of cloud technologies to improve the performance of their software in order to make their users lives easier.

The Role This role sits within a new part of the business working on a new CRM product so this will offer autonomy and involvement across the full software lifecycle. You will be encouraged to introduce coding standards and design practices so this might feel a little bit like a start up phase at times but with all the benefits of a medium sized business behind you.

You’ll work alongside other Software Developers, Testers and Platform Engineers who will all report into the Engineering Manager.

As this is a Senior role you’ll be expected to have some background in mentoring or coaching other team members.

Technical Requirements

To be a good fit for this role the successful candidate will need to already be a Senior PHP Developer or be in a position as a mid level where you are ready to take a step up.

  • Around 5 years or proven commercial experience across multiple roles using PHP, Laravel, Javascript / Typescript, React, AWS.
  • CI/CD
  • Understanding of working in a cloud first environment. 
  • Understanding of automated testing tools.
  • Worked in small – medium sized teams where you have shown influence and positive change
  • Mentoring / coaching others

Interview process / Application process

  • You must be eligible to work in the UK, sponsorship is not offered.
  • 2 stage interview, 1 teams call with the Engineering Manager over teams and if successful followed by another Teams Video call where you’ll meet the Engineering Director and another Lead Developer.
  • A decision will be made within 24 hours of the final interview
