The client are an award winning Software Company based in Newcastle, they provide software solutions to a range of large companies including NatWest and Sevita. They are going through a large period of growth and have recently recieved some significant funding, the team has also doubled in size and plan to grow even more within the next year. They place a huge focus on company culture and ensure you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

The role

This is a backend focused role, where you will be fully hands on working with C#, .Net. The team is made up of 9 developers and you will be working on a variety of projects that include AI and architecture. You will be required to work collaboratively within the team, with the aim to deliver high quality software solutions that match up to business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable applications
  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Lead the technical aspects of projects, including task planning, code reviews, and overseeing development processes
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years commercial experience, working on the full lifecycle of projects
  • Proficiency in .Net framework
  • Strong proficiency in C#
  • Git version control
  • Great soft skills and a strong communicator

Desirables

  • Azure Management such as managing Azure Pipelines
  • Azure Devops
  • Working knowledge of MVC
  • Experience with Visual Studio and/or VS code
