- Provide support to young people with autism in their educational and personal development.
- Ensure a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment.
- Support students in classroom activities as well as in community-based and outdoor settings.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to deliver personalised learning experiences.
- Maintain a strong awareness of safeguarding protocols and the safety of all students.
- A good level of general education, preferably with Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- A positive interest in working with young people on the autism spectrum.
- An understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- The ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure.
- A caring and dedicated attitude towards the development of each student.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in the wider community, supporting vocational and life skills activities.
