Reed is seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Primary Schools in Walker from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with students with additional needs and be able to support their learning through a sensory approach.
Responsibilities include helping children access learning materials, deescalating crises, and building positive relationships with students.
The position offers a pay rate between £85 and £90 per day, and candidates must have an enhanced DBS on the update service.

SEN Teaching Assistant

Full time: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Reed are delighted to be working alongside fantastic Primary Schools in Walker. In partnership with the schools, we seek to find Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with a students with additional needs.We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:- Help children access learning materials by tapping into their interests- Support them with a sensory approach to some learning activities- Seek to deescalate any crisis moments through understanding triggers, using a nurture-based approach- Build a positive and empathetic relationship, supporting them to build these with their peers.These SEN Teaching Assistant roles are to start as soon as possible.

The hours are full-time, and you will be paid on a weekly basis by Reed Education.The role requires an enhanced DBS on the update service.Our pay rates are between £85 and £90 per day.
