Based in Newcastle, this role offers a chance to work with cutting-edge machinery and technology, making a significant impact in a state-of-the-art environment.
About the Role:
- Position: Technical Operator
- Location: Newcastle
- Hourly Rate: £16.50 - £17.50 ph
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday DAYS
- A combination of operating equipment and basic Maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operate and maintain high-tech machinery and equipment as a Technical Operator to ensure smooth and efficient production
- Conduct regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Work closely with a team to achieve production and Engineering targets and maintain high-quality standards
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations throughout all operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Operator or Engineer in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
- Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced machinery and technology
- Qualifications: Apprentice trained and qualified to a Level 3 or above in mechanical engineering
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
