An expanding organisation who are seeking to add a talented Accounts Assistant to their branch in Newcastle-under-Lyme has recently approached Mitchell Adam for assistance. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be completing duties that cover both sales and purchase ledger, as well as credit control. You will be working closely with a qualified Finance Manager who will be available to assist you when needed. They are looking for a candidate who is confident in their own ability, and could come into the organisation a start to quickly produce a high quality of work. Responsibilities could include chasing aged debt, processing invoices and reconciling the bank accounts.
Skills Required- To have at least one year's experience in an accounting related role, and to be comfortable working in a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills are desired in this role as you will be interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- To be versatile and adaptable to completing various duties within transactional accounting.
