We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Newhaven. The ideal candidate will manage and oversee all aspects of employee relations, recruitment, learning and development (L&D), onboarding, offboarding, HR administration, and employee engagement within our organization. The HR Manager will play a key role in ensuring that our HR initiatives are not only effective but also align with our business strategy and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations: Provide support and guidance to employees and management in conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Ensure legal compliance in all aspects of employee relations and HR policies.
  • Recruitment: End to end recruitment coordination. Develop and refine recruitment strategies and processes to enhance the candidate experience and improve hiring outcomes. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand their staffing needs and tailor recruitment drives accordingly.
  • Learning & Development: Assess the training needs of staff and develop a comprehensive L&D program.
  • Onboarding/ Offboarding Administration
  • HR Administration
  • Line management of EA
  • Employee Engagement
  • Change management support
  • Overview of the payroll

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Proven experience as a Human Resources Generalist including end to end ER support
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ideally CIPD qualified
