Mechanical Fitter (Maintenance)

Buxton

Up to Circa £36,000 + Regular Overtime (1.5x - OTE Circa £45,000) + Increasing Holidays (Up to 25) + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training + Progression

Days Based 39 Hours per Week

Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 15:00. Friday - 06:00 -11:00

OR

Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:30. Friday - 07:30 -12:30

Mechanical Fitter required for a heavy engineering company in the Buxton area. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer to join a growing company who can offer fantastic training and regular optional overtime opportunities within a days-based position.

To apply for this role, you will be a mechanically biased candidate from any background however candidates from a heavy manufacturing industry will hold a considerable advantage. You will ideally be apprentice trained and candidates with fabrication experience will hold an advantage, but this is NOT essential as training can be provided. Ex-forces candidates are encouraged to apply.

The role is 100% mechanical, and you will work on equipment such as crushers, screeners, grinders and conveyors. You will predominantly carry out preventative maintenance, working closely with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, however approximately 15% of your time will be spent carrying out reactive maintenance and installation work on exciting projects.

The Mechanical Fitter Role:

* 100% mechanical maintenance
