Are you a Production Engineer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join a leading company in the hygiene industry. The main duties will be ensuring that equipment runs smoothly and reliably while reducing downtime to increase overall equipment effectiveness and the longevity of machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast paced manufacturing environment, where you will be responsible for fault finding, repairs, maintenance and process improvements.

Offering a competitive salary of £37,000 - £42,000 DOE, this role also includes a fantastic benefits package, including private medical insurance, life assurance at twice the annual salary, a 6% company pension scheme, 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a long service holiday award after five years and access to their Benefit Hub. As part of the role, you will be expected to provide rapid technical assistance for equipment malfunctions, carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, while implementing planned maintenance of jigs, fixtures, plant and other equipment. You will also work closely with the production team to drive efficiency improvements, manage stock supplies, ensure equipment modifications meet safety standards and identify opportunities for process enhancements.

To succeed in this role, you will need a HNC, ONC, City & Guilds, NVQ4 qualification or a time served apprenticeship in Engineering or Electronics. Strong fault finding skills in mechanical, pneumatic and electrical control systems are essential, along with experience in lean manufacturing principles. A full UK driving license and proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel are required. Desirable qualifications include experience with automation, injection moulding machines, Six Sigma and SolidWorks.
