About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to join our clients successful Accounting Firm. You will play a vital role in dealing with very high profile clients, supporting their financial operations. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) as needed.
- Support a varied client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
- Preparation of year end, personal and corporation tax computations and returns.
- Liaising with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries.
- Identifying new processes and ways to increase efficiency.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and best practices.
- Use accounting software efficiently (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal accounting processes.
Desired Skills:
- ACCA/ACA qualified or Qualified by Experience.
- UK practice Experience .
- A proven track record of managing a client portfolio, including monitoring commercial aspects.
- Strong working knowledge of software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
