As the Head of Finance, you will oversee all financial activities within the company, with a primary focus on driving commercial strategy, financial performance, and long-term growth. Description

  • Lead and manage the finance function to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Provide commercial financial leadership, driving profitability and growth by identifying key opportunities and risks in the business.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement the company's commercial strategy, with a particular focus on driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin improvement.
  • Lead financial modelling for new product launches, market expansion, and business development initiatives.
  • Partner with the sales and marketing teams to evaluate commercial opportunities, pricing strategies, and customer profitability.
  • Oversee financial performance metrics, KPIs, and performance analysis to ensure the business is on track to meet short- and long-term objectives.
  • Support the Board and senior leadership with business case development, investment analysis, and M&A activity.

Profile

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, with significant experience in financial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in a senior finance role within the Life Sciences or a related industry (Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare).
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of how finance can drive business performance in a highly competitive market.
  • Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
