Polytec is seeking a Production Technician for a client in Newmarket (CB8) for an initial 6-month contract that may become permanent.
The position requires 1-2 years of experience in light mechanical assembly and a good knowledge of soldering techniques.
The salary for this role ranges from £26,000 to £28,000 per year.
Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with an option for a 4-day workweek.
Candidates with an electronics background or microwave experience are preferred, along with knowledge of production processes and quality control.

Polytec are looking for a Production Technician for our Newmarket based client.

Responsibilities:
* Assembly of antenna kits, following documentation, ensuring Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
* Operate Test and Measurement equipment
* Ensure all relevant paperwork for each job is completed

Requirements:
* Good knowledge of soldering techniques
* Previous experience of light mechanical assembly work
* Electronics background or microwave experience preferable
* Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs
