We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join a rapidly growing business in Newmarket . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising and processing invoices.
  • Setting up new supplier bank payments.
  • Reviewing and approving staff expenses.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the finance team and supporting with queries.
  • Reconciling credit and debit notes, including Tax and VAT compliance.
  • Supporting the Office Administrator with weekly payroll processing.
  • Assisting with the annual audit process.
  • Supporting ad hoc projects as required.
Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced finance department with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
