KS2 Primary Teacher - Newport Pagnell

Duration: Long Term Cover / Permanent

Location: Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes

Salary: MPS - UPS (Competitive salary, depending on experience)

Job Type: 4 - 5 Days per week

Here at Academics we are looking for a Year 3/4 class teacher in or around Newport Pagnell. This role is until the end of the academic year, with the potential to go permanent in September (granted you enjoy the role, and you fit in well at the school).

This is Year 3/4 Primary Teacher role will aid the educational development of young students and prepare them for their SATS year, and foundations before entering into secondary school. If you are passionate about teaching and nurturing the mind of young pupils and would like to work in a friendly, kind, caring and supportive environment with welcoming colleagues then this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities/requirements:

  • Teach the national curriculum to an eager Year 3/4 class
  • Must have a QTS and DBS (or willing to apply for one)
  • This role is suitable for ECTs
  • Make adaptations and present planned lessons
  • Form great relationships with the students, parents and colleagues
  • Commit to 8:30 - 3:30 hours, 4-5 days per week
  • Attend teacher meetings and parents evenings
  • Be able to commute to Newport Pagnell
