Sonic Summary
- We are seeking a Head of Finance to join our leadership team and drive the financial strategy of our expanding business.
- This role requires a fully qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in financial leadership.
- The Head of Finance will oversee financial planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance while providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead all aspects of the finance function - from financial planning and analysis to reporting, risk management, and compliance. You'll be a key strategic partner to the wider business, providing insight, challenge, and direction as we continue to scale.
Head of Finance Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the finance function, ensuring robust financial processes and controls
* Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management accounts
* Provide commercial and strategic insight to support key business decisions
* Oversee cash flow, working capital, and risk management
* Ensure full compliance with UK statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
* Manage external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and investors
* Support fundraising and investment activity as required
What We're Looking For
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong background in financial leadership
* Experience in a scaling business, with a track record of improving service, quality, and profitability, is preferred.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Commercially minded with a strategic outlook, but comfortable rolling up your sleeves
* Proficient in financial systems and data-led decision making
