A well-established accountancy practice in Newport is seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Tax Senior to join their growing team. This is a senior tax role offering a fantastic work-life balance in a relaxed and supportive environment, with no out-of-hours working. The Role

As the successful Tax Senior, you will have the following responsibilities:

* Working in a mixed tax role with exposure across Personal and Corporate Tax

* E.g. Capital Gains, Inheritance, Self-Assessment, Corporate Tax returns

* Working in an advisory focused role

* Working on elements of compliance

The successful candidate will:

* Prepare personal tax returns, partnership tax returns, and corporation tax returns.

* Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients.

* Assist in ensuring compliance with tax legislation and deadlines.

* Work closely with senior managers and partners to support clients with tax-related queries.

The Ideal Candidate

* Qualified or part-qualified (ATT, CTA, or equivalent).

* Strong experience in preparing tax returns within a practice environment.

* Excellent knowledge of personal and business tax compliance.

* Proficiency in accounting software

* Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills.

Salary from £50,000 to £65,000

Only a 33 hour working week with a half day on a Friday
