We are delighted to be recruiting for one of our longstanding clients, who is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to support their team during year-end and a busy workload period. This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive accounts team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Role:Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play an integral role in the accounts team, assisting with a variety of tasks as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing purchase ledger invoices using the in-house system
- Reconciling statements and resolving supplier queries
- Raising sales invoices and processing payments
- Providing ad hoc financial administration support
About You:To succeed in this role, you should be:
- Immediately available to start
- Happy to work office-based hours (Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to assist with various tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and, ideally, familiar with other accounting systems
