We are currently working alongside a Newport based Local Authority, who are looking to appoint an Administrator on a minimum of a three-month contract, with a chance to be extended.
This will be a full-time position based in Newport, offering £16.32 per hour on an Umbrella basis, working 37 hours a week.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in an administrative focused role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Liaising with customers in regards to landfill pricing and opening hours
- Managing the environmental permits for landfill sites and tax obligations
- Processing payments and issuing invoices to customers and contractors
- Ensuring that all orders are completed and the necessary payments are being completed
- Monitoring the amount of waste going into landfill, and creating reports allowing for performance reviews
Experience required:
- Recent experience in an administrative capacity
- Strong IT skills
