We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team within the General Medicine and Rehabilitation department at [Hospital/Trust Name]. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat patients with a variety of conditions within the general medicine and rehabilitation settings, including post-operative rehabilitation, respiratory care, neurology, and musculoskeletal management.
- Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans to meet the needs of patients with varying conditions and functional levels.
- Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide education and advice to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation goals and progress.
- Actively participate in the rehabilitation of patients, supporting their recovery and helping them regain independence.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, students, and support workers as part of your professional development.
