Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist for a locum role based in Torfaen, initially until March with potential extension into the next financial year.
The position requires some community experience and the ability to drive, ideally suited for candidates located in Newport, Cardiff, or South Wales.
This full-time role offers a competitive salary, paying £5 more per hour than South Wales rates and £7 more than NHS England rates.
The successful candidate will work with diverse individuals, assessing and implementing tailored interventions to enhance their independence and quality of life.
Candidates should possess relevant experience in community settings to effectively support rehabilitation and person-centered care.

Band 6 Community OT (Locum role)

Initially until March but has a strong possibility of it rolling into the next financial year
Based at Torfaen (Aneurin Bevan)
Ideally have some Community experience and able to drive
Paying £5 more an hour than the South Wales rates and £7 more than NHS England rate
Looking for someone full time
This role would suit someone based in Newport/Cardiff/South Wales

Job Summary:

In this role, you will work with individuals across various age groups and backgrounds, helping them achieve independence and improve their quality of life within their own homes and community settings.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions tailored to meet the needs of individuals living with a variety of physical, mental health, and social challenges. You will be responsible for developing and delivering person-centered interventions, supporting rehabilitation, and enabling individuals to regain or maintain their independence.
