Job Summary for a Building Surveyor
Blue Water Recruitment areseeking a skilled Building Surveyor to support agrowing business by managing surveys, scoping works, and ensuring cost-effective project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong undersanding of building maintenance, commercial awareness and the ability to work flexibly across mulitple projects.

Key Responsibilities of a Building Surveyor

-Conduct site visits and surveys to scope repair and planned works.
- Prepare quotations for larger project and assess commercial viability.
- Review schedules of rates and ensure cost-effective project execution.
- Measure and order materials to maximise vale and efficiency.
- Support the finance team with supplier negotiations and cost control.
- Assist directors with tenders and business growth initiatives.
- Travel as neeeded to cost and survey projects.
- Contribute ideas and expertise to improve processes and business growth.

Requirements for for a Building Surveyor
-Strong knowledge of building maintenance and constructio.
- Experience in surveying, cost estimation, and procurement.
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage project finances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and maitenance software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK Driving license and willingness to travel when required.
