Academics are looking for a Teaching assistant to work part time as a TA in a welcoming school in Newport. We are looking for both experienced Teaching Assistants and anyone looking to kick start their career in education.
Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant.
- Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson and material preparation.
- Assisting with basic literacy and numeracy tasks for small groups of students.
- Providing 1:1 support for students who need extra assistance.

- Daily pay between 85 and 95, depending on experience.

What we need from you
- An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service
- Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
- Two recent and professional references
- Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
