What will you do? Make an impact!

Join our team to assist the Transfer Station Site Manager in the safe, compliant and efficient operation and development of the Gwent Waste Transfer Station.

  • To carry out inspection, analysis and routing for incoming wastes.
  • Arrange and prepare waste for outgoing loads ensuring all loads meet all required legislation.
  • To maintain the highest standards of housekeeping across the Gwent WTS.
  • To ensure stock is managed and stored in accordance with legislation, guidance and local procedures at all sites.
  • To liaise with customer service and technical assessment departments to resolve issues such as non-conformance.

Do you have what it takes?

  • At least HNC level qualification in a scientific/environmental discipline
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Outlook required. SAP is desirable)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proactive results focussed approach to work
