TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a forward thinking law firm who due to recent changes in their structure, have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join their Management Team as Senior Conveyancer / Managing Associate. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Conveyancing to support the day-to-day operations of the national conveyancing team, as well as client support and operational administrative teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensuring full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including AML and client care standards.
  • Team Development: Assisting in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Conveyancers.
  • Mentorship & Coaching: Providing guidance to conveyancing teams, acting as a coach and mentor on complex transactional matters, and handling any HR-related issues.
  • Client Service Delivery: Managing escalated complaints, handling LEO matters, and providing targeted training to improve client service.
  • Operational Support: Offering strategic and operational support to the Head of Conveyancing across all areas of the department’s functioning.

To be considered for this role, please ensure your CV highlights the following:

  • PQE : Minimum of 7 years PQE with a current Practising Certificate.
  • Management Experience: Proven experience in a management role within a fast-paced and paper-free legal practice.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive technical knowledge of conveyancing, with experience training, managing, and mentoring both trainee and experienced conveyancers.
  • Policy Development: Previous experience creating and implementing office, department, and technical policies and procedures.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
