Our client is a world leader in delivering scientific results creating a healthier, cleaner and safer environment for the future and they are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

What will it require?

In a nutshell the role will require you to work as a team and be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the equipment. Ensuring that all machinery is checked withing a daily and weekly manufacturing plan to achieve targets, you will be confident to deliver any results to stakeholders as and when required. The Responsibilities Consist Of:

  • Deliver and record any allocated PPM checks.
  • Assist in training other Production Technicians and attend any training courses deemed necessary to enhance skill level.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety is carried out at all times
  • To be responsible for control of all machine settings
  • Keep management updated with any issues which may result in machinery breaking down.
  • To obtain optimum conditions to achieve cycle times and quality standards
  • Maintain material usage for cost and environmental purposes.
  • Carry out relevant procedures in accordance to ISO 9001

If applying and are Electrically bias, we will expect to see:

  • Experience of bespoke automation / assembly equipment (HVL / HSL)
  • Servo control systems & programming.
  • The use of computer aided diagnostic equipment for fault location & elimination.
  • Plastics machinery experience, electronics & control systems.
  • Electrical installation & commissioning skills.
  • HNC or Formal electrical apprenticeship, with city & guilds / BTEC qualification.
  • Hold 18th Edition

If applying and are Mechanically bias, we will expect to see:

  • Intimate knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatic's.
  • Fabrication abilities & skills.
  • Schematics, data & technical drawing knowledge.
  • Mechanical installation & commissioning skills.
  • HNC or Formal mechanical apprenticeship, with city & guilds / BTEC qualification.
  • Basic electrical competency.
