As the new Service Engineer for the Newport Depot, you will be responsible for covering the Gloucestershire area, reporting to the Newport Depot on a bi-weekly basis.

About the role

As the Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in service users' homes and in house.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • At times, where necessary, delivering and collecting disability equipment to service users' homes, hospitals, and health centres.
  • Multiple service jobs daily, some of which can be heavy and may include beds and other large, heavy items of equipment.
  • Providing polite, empathetic and client focused service, taking into account that clients • Undertake risk assessments
  • Using a weight rig to service and maintain hoists, which may involve some heavy lifting.
  • Understanding and demonstrating
