My Client is a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor, actively engaged in projects across Ireland, Europe, and the UK. Their work spans various sectors, including Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Utilize Primavera P6 to develop Pre-Construction, Construction, and Commissioning Programs as part of the project team.
  • Project Controls Development: Establish Project Controls Systems tailored to specific projects, including setting up Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Progress Measurement Systems, developing S-Curves, cost loading, and scheduling baselines.
  • Progress Measurement: Monitor all worksboth direct and sub-contractusing the bespoke Project Management System (PMS), which includes tracking labor hours, analyzing efficiencies, updating schedules in Primavera or Asta, and managing system turnover tracking. Notify clients of delays and prepare monthly reports for management.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage the site planning team to ensure effective project execution.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction planning.
  • Solid experience in Mechanical and Electrical construction, preferably within pharmaceutical projects.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with Delay Analysis Techniques.
  • Strong people management skills.
