About the Role

The Process Technologist is responsible for managing the transition of concept-approved products into full-scale production. Working with a variety of cuisines, the role ensures customer requirements, product specifications, and food safety standards are met. You'll play a key role in factory trials, pre-production activities, and launches, collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage factory trials, ensuring technical, safety, and legal compliance
  • Lead pre-production and product launches to ensure smooth transitions to production
  • Oversee customer quality panels, approvals, and quality contracts
  • Collaborate on New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and Value Optimisation (VO) initiatives
  • Balance factory work, administrative tasks, and sample preparation

About You

This role is perfect for a food enthusiast with a passion for product development, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Key Requirements

  • 2+ years of industry experience in food manufacturing is ideal but graduates will be considered
  • Passionate about food and its development
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on factory work with administrative tasks
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Working Hours

  • Core hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility required for occasional weekend and night shifts during product launches
