Salary - 40,000 - 45,000 depending on experience

Required Qualifications

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry
* Level 3 Electrical Craft Qualification
* 18th Edition for Electrical Installations
* Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and testing of Electrical Installations

Required Skills

* Electrical troubleshooting skills
* Effective leadership skills
* Demonstrates high level of technical understanding
* Equipment maintenance
* Attention to detail
* Good computer skills

Responsibilities

* Supervising electrical team to ensure that they meet deadlines and quality standards
* Monitoring projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
* Establishing standards for electrical safety in the workplace and making sure they are met
* Managing the daily activities of the electrical department including scheduling work tasks, and directing electrical teams
* Conducting research on new technologies related to electrical components or safety issues
* Ensures compliance with all applicable codes and regulations and advises senior management on requirements
* Estimating the cost of materials needed to complete projects
* Developing plans for electrical projects such as constructing new facilities or upgrading existing ones
* Monitoring electrical equipment to ensure that it is working correctly, monitoring inventory levels, anticipating supply needs, reviewing and approving invoices
* Overseeing the hiring and training of electrical workers
