Academics have a fantastic opportunity for you! We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a Full Time basis in a large school in Newport with a supportive SLT team.
Key requirements of a SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Support a student on a 1:1 basis who has additional learning needs.
- Support the classroom teacher in the delivery of materials
- Monitor your students' progress and academic development to liaise with teachers and the pupil's parents.

What do we need from you?
- Experience working in a classroom setting
- Experience working with Additional Learning Needs
- An Enhanced DBS and registration with the EWC (We can assist you with the process).
- 2 recent and professional references.
