My client operates a small but successful practice from offices in Newquay. Expansion of their client portfolio has led to this requirement for an experienced Accountant to join their team on a 20 hour per week basis.
This role will see you take on a variety of duties to include being first point of contact for your allocated portfolio of clients. You will assist your clients with their bookkeeping, VAT and payroll obligations, along with preparing year end accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be expected to show proficiency in a variety of online software packages including Xero.
This role would be an ideal fit for an AAT qualified candidate who is looking for a practice role offering flexibility and home working to help you find a greater work life balance. Although the role will be heavily home-based, you will need to live within an easy commute of the office to attend regular meetings with the rest of the team and with your clients.
