Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities and Security Manager to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in 6 Nicholsons Lane, Maidenhead

The ideal candidate will have a strong Facilities Management background with a good understanding of Security procedures and Health and Safety regulations at the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assist with the site Health & Safety regime, with a good working understanding to at least IOSH level, compiling and reviewing Risk Assessments and method statements as required.
  • To manage the development of the service and the training and development of staff in accordance with plans agreed between OCS Group UK Ltd and the Client.
  • Manage the grievance and discipline in line with the OCS Group Ltd procedures.
  • To roster security officer duties, and to manage staff working hours in accordance with the Working Time Directive 2000/34/EC delivering the optimum operational outcome to the client.
  • To manage staff welfare and to ensure that work practices comply to agreed levels in accordance with the Health & Safety at work etc. Act 1974.
  • To manage the CCTV and Data library, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Maintaining the appropriate and correct level of data transfer documentation in line with the client's and legal requirements.
  • To ensure assignment instructions are kept up to date and relevant.
  • To assist the client in managing all contractors, by monitoring their compliance with the client's requirements.
  • Online reporting and recording using bespoke software: Partner patrol management system, Time gate, Myview & Data Station.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • You will ideally have experience of working in a FM environment
  • Previous experience in shopping centre is desirable
  • Have excellent verbal, written communication, and customer service skills.
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • SIA license desirable
  • CCTV License desirable
  • IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
  • You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
  • A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Counter Terrorism Check.
