Do you have experience working as a HR Business Partner

We are currently seeking a HR Business Partner to work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to provide HR support to the Site lead and promote excellence in delivery of all operational HR processes including Talent Development, Performance Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing and Engagement. You will work with the Senior HR Business Partner to drive strategic priorities, objectives and targets on site and partner our first line managers to drive continuous improvement in associate engagement. You will lead the site absence management strategy, guide and coach people leaders upon matters of employee relations and you will also have the opportunity to contribute to HR projects both on site and within the wider HR Team

What does the role involve?

In conjunction with the Senior HR Business Partner:

*Pro-actively assist and advise managers on human resource issues, in accordance with employment law, best practice, policies and procedures and terms and conditions of employment.

*Implementation of contractual changes and updates, ensuring timely completion in line with payroll deadlines.

*Assist in the Growth & Development of associates by promoting the talent processes and ensuring managers are supported to coach and develop their team.

*Support change management activities as and when they occur, ensuring effective employee communication and engagement is maintained.

*Leading the site absence management program in line with the company absence management policy and applied consistently. Advise managers on absence issues, ensuring long-term corrective solutions.

*Management and upkeep of the company's absence managements system.

*The compilation of daily / weekly / monthly data as required, outlining key HR activities, trends and progress against KPI's and site/department objectives as well as ensuring visual management displays are kept up to date where appropriate.

*Ensure HR policies, procedures are communicated appropriately; ensuring key information is passed on in an effective manner.

*Coordinate the annual Performance Appraisal Scheme for all our OBT band associates to ensure their continued development.

*Coordinate the utilisation of Wellbeing Provision including, supporting with the occupational health provision and leading wellbeing activities where required.

*Provide advice and support to associates on HR and employment matters including policy interpretation.

*Ensure that HR information is kept up to date, and in accordance with Data Protection Legislation, including maintenance of personnel files, electronic and paper.

*Lead on HR projects that have a site and regional impact.

What else do I need to know?

Essential Qualifications/Education:

*CIPD qualified level 5

*Degree level education or time served equivalent

Required Previous Experience:

*At least 3 years previous Human Resources experience within a large multi-national organisation in a HR Manager / Senior HR Advisor role

*Experience of supporting in disciplinary / grievance hearings up to and including dismissals.

*Experience of delivering training (preferable)

*Experience of managing projects

*The salary will be between 20 and 25 per hour

*The hours of work will be 8am - 4:30 Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3:30pm Friday

*Paid break's

*Subsidised canteen

*Uniform

*Enhanced holiday past 12 weeks of 34 days
