About the Role:We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Semi-Senior Accountant to join a dynamic accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone partway through their professional qualifications and looking to develop their skills further in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and tax computations.
  • Undertake bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records for clients.
  • Support with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Liaise with clients to gather information and address queries.
  • Support senior accountants and managers with ad hoc projects.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or AAT (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working within an accountancy practice is essential.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
