Join Our Team: Architectural Technician and Assistant Project Coordinator - Devon

Due to our expanding client base, we are excited to announce a new full-time position within our Devon design studio. As an Architectural Technician and Assistant Project Coordinator, youll play a vital role in bringing our projects to life.

You will be a suitably qualified and experienced Architectural Technician looking to expand your role into Project Coordination and to work on high-end residential projects encompassing design, build and interiors.

Heres what the role entails:
  • Producing Working Drawings:Create detailed and accurate working drawings.
  • Design Presentations:Develop compelling design presentations for clients.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with our internal design and project management team, external consultants, suppliers, and clients.
  • On-Site Involvement:Attend site meetings, conduct measured surveys, and perform site inspections.
  • Project Management:Handle project scheduling from design through to installation.
  • Material Sourcing:Source and order specialist materials.
  • Administration:Manage general project administration tasks.
  • Software Proficiency:Proficiency in Vectorworks and SketchUp would be advantageous.
  • CIAT Registration:If youre CIAT registered, thats a plus!
  • Effective Communication:Excellent communication skills are essential, both within the team and independently.
  • Technical Competence:Take full responsibility for your workload, demonstrating technical ability.
  • Architectural BackgroundAn architectural degree would be advantageous.
  • Industry Experience:A minimum of a couple of years industry experience is required.
  • Additional Skills:You should be mathematically competent, literate, articulate, and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and CAD.
  • Commercial Awareness:Understand the financial aspects of projects.
  • Tenacity and Politeness:Approach challenges with determination and courtesy.
