Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Heathfield, Newton Abbot

Hours of Work:Monday to Friday, 07:00 17:00

We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our client's team. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for the execution of all production tasks, following all work instructions, maintaining a safe work environment, organizing tools and stock, and reporting issues and necessary timing adjustments. Your role will encompass the manufacture and assembly of components for orders and stock, closely following provided work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing finished goods as per work instructions
• Reporting any necessary amendments to works order bill of materials.
• Collaborating with the technical team to address product outages by finding suitable alternatives.
• Monitoring and recording consumable usage.
• Participating in testing new work instructions for new products and providing feedback when required.
• Conducting visual inspections on items before boxing.
• Printing product QR labels as needed.
• Assisting fellow Production Operatives in making alternative amendments for builds if required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Technically minded with a preference for electrical and/or plumbing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of pride in workmanship.
• Hands on/practical experience
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
