Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be instrumental in supporting the business through seamless cross-departmental collaboration. You will be responsible for driving business success by providing high-quality financial insights, ensuring accurate product costing, and analysing margins to meet financial objectives.
The responsibilities:
- Provide financial insights to support customer quotation processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation of product costs.
- Analyse financial performance of customers and products.
- Track project costs and time to guarantee accurate revenue recognition.
- Enhance costing models, ERP systems, and related processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Present to Executives, offering detailed guidance to both finance and non-finance managers.
- Apply deep expertise in costing methods to establish product pricing structures.
- Leverage commercial acumen to recommend improvements in data capture, reporting, and analysis.
The candidate:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Proven experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficient in using ERP/MRP software systems and advanced Excel.
- Expertise in costing methods and commercial environments.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly interpret data and draw conclusions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences and manage conflicting priorities independently.
