The Opportunity:Senior Management Accountant - Hybrid Working - Global Manufacturing Business - Up to £55,000 SalaryOur client, a global manufacturing business based in County Durham, is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to join their team.  This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation in a key role. Main duties/responsibilities:
  • Day to day management accounting and reporting activities, meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines;
  • Working with KPIs and delivering key information efficiently and on schedule; 
  • Analyse, interpret and present data;
  • Interaction with key operational contacts to obtain time sensitive data;
  • Standardisation and simplification of key processes; 
  • Active role in improving departmental KPIs;
  • Support flash and official forecasting; 
  • Work with internal and external audit; and
  • Ad hoc duties as required. 
You will be/have:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent;
  • Experience and knowledge of Corporate Governance, especially within a business based across multiple sites/locations;
  • Working knowledge of UK regulatory standards, including IFRS and Sarbanes Oxley;
  • Capable of meeting strict deadlines with excellent organisational skills; 
  • Able to challenge and review financial information provided constructively;
  • Strong communication skills; and 
  • Knowledge of SAP desirable.
