BTS offers precision manufacturing and supply of premium quality Facade and Rainscreen systems, including interlocking plank CWCT-tested rainscreen systems, architectural cladding, rainscreen facades, and rain-screen cladding systems across the UK.

Job Description:

As a CNC Press Brake Setter, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating press machinery in line with design specifications and quality standards. This role is integral to the production process, requiring technical expertise and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, set, and operate CNC press machinery.
  • Interpret and implement engineering drawings with precision.
  • Perform pressing, punching, and fabrication tasks using advanced equipment.
  • Conduct safety checks and maintain documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Carry out Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) on machines and report service needs.
  • Support initiatives for improved manufacturing practices and information systems.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude in all tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, including risk assessments and proper use of PPE.

Skills & Experience:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Machine Operations.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a relevant industry, with proficiency in operating press machinery.
  • Special Skills:
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
    • Knowledge of engineering and material technology.
    • Strong mathematical skills and ability to interpret design drawings.
    • Team-oriented with a flexible approach to work.
    • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles is an advantage.
