Our client is a well-established fabrication company based in Newton Aycliffe. With a proven track record of success and continued growth, they are investing heavily in their future plans for 2025. They supply a wide range of products globally and are now seeking to expand their team with an experienced Sales Estimator.

Key Accountabilities:
As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing accurate proposals for products and services
- Maintaining and updating the product database regularly
- Costing material, labor, and production costs, and liaising with external suppliers
- Collaborating with the technical team to provide product education to customers on what is achievable to suit their project and budget needs
- Building long-term relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers
- Taking ownership of estimates, driving them to completion (whether that be contract award or loss) and seeking feedback where applicable
Minimum Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Previous experience in an estimating role
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience in Steel / Aluminium Fabrication is desirable but not essential (however, a solid understanding is required)
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
