My client is well established fabrication company. Based in Newton Aycliffe, they have seen year on year success, with further growth and investment plans for 2024/25. They offer a range of products, which are supplied across the globe. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Estimator to join their team on a Permanent basics.

Key Accountabilities

• Preparing proposals for our products and services
• Maintaining and updating the product database
• Preparing proposals for our products and services
• Costing material, labour, and production costs and liaising with external suppliers
• Working with the technical team to provide product education to our customers on what is achievable to suit their project and budget needs.
• Strive to build long term relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers.
• Taking ownership of the estimate, actively bringing it to a conclusion (contract award, loss etc) & seeking feedback from Client were applicable

Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in an estimating role
• Attention to details and methodical thinker.
• Effective communicator
• Steel / Aluminium Fabrication desirable but not essential, however must have and understanding
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
