My client based in Newton Aycliffe is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for a temp to perm position.
The ideal candidate should have previous supervisor or team leader experience in a warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities include managing a small team, driving Counterbalance and Reach trucks, and ensuring smooth logistics processes.
The salary for this role ranges from £14 to £14.50 per hour, and a full UK driving licence is required.
Candidates should be over 25 years old with no more than 6 points on their licence and have a good understanding of health and safety.

My client based in Newton Aycliffe is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team on a temp to perm basis

Due to the nature of the role and the needs of the business, the suitable applicant should have some previous supervisor/team leader experience in a warehouse environment

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

Managing a small team of existing operatives
Adopting a hands on approach to the role including manual labour
Reporting issues to senior management
Driving Counterbalance and Reach trucks on a daily basis (licences must be valid)
Ensuring a smooth logistics process between orders and delivery
Tracking deliveries and following up with any queries
Inventory management in a busy warehouse environment
To have a full UK driving licence (you will need to be over 25 with no more than 6 points on your licence)
To have a good understanding of health and safety

Rate: £14 - £14.50ph

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm

Role: Immediate start for the right candidate, temp to perm opportunity
