Shift pattern is working 4 on (2 days and 2 nights) 6 off, 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00

My client is looking for a Team Leader to operate assigned process plant on a shift to shift basis producing required volumes of product in a safe and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Shift Plant Manager on running 9 production lines and 12 operators
  • Deliver SHE cascades to team
  • Utilise and promote use of 60 Second Check Cards with the team
  • Ensure Housekeeping is maintained to high standard and daily audits carried out.
  • Ensure all Permit to work are completed and controlled correctly
  • Plan, organise and control the process on a daily basis
  • Ensure output targets are reached and assist Operators to achieve this when necessary.
  • Ensure product made achieves all quality standards and lead investigations when required quality standard not reached.
  • Ensure all paper work is accurate prior to issuing.
  • Ability to intercept and analyse plant operating data and trends.
  • Achieve ZERO Safety incidents

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years batch processing experience including an in depth knowledge of compound manufacturing and FP packing.
  • Knowledge and experience of using SAP
  • GCSE C/4 and above in Maths and English
  • Management training or attend management training
  • Positive can do attitude
  • Willingness to learn the production plant
  • Desirable - FLT License
