The Recruitment Co are looking for an experienced Business/Purchasing Administrator for one of our successful engineering clients based in Newton Aycliffe. This is a temporary to permanent position. We are looking for someone who is organised, methodical and has amazing attention to detail.Pay: £12.33ph - Paid on a weekly basis Hours: Monday to Friday - 39 hours per weekRole & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare delivery notes for goods-out
  • Sales order processing
  • Purchase order processing
  • Comparing prices and collating quotes
  • Managing stock levels
  • Making and answering telephones in an efficient and effective manner
  • Data inputting
  • Keeping up to date accurate records
  • Other general office duties, including preparing, typing, sending and follow up quotations

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Be a diligent follower of policies & procedures
  • Ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Office including working with Excel (formulas)
  • Have clear communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Have the ability to prioritise and organise busy workloads
  • Possess a positive can-do attitude
